    About the Role

    Son's Getaways is looking for a creative and motivated Summer Marketing & Social Media Intern to help us share the beauty of our properties and the experiences we offer. If you love the outdoors, have a knack for creating scroll-stopping content, and want a summer gig that doesn't keep you stuck behind a desk, this is the opportunity for you.

    You'll travel between our properties to capture photos, videos, and stories that bring our brand to life across social media platforms. This role is hands-on, creative, and perfect for someone looking to build real-world marketing experience in the hospitality and outdoor recreation space.

    What You'll Do

    • Create and manage engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
    • Travel to Son's Getaways properties to photograph, film, and promote on-site experiences
    • Assist in developing and executing social media strategy and advertising campaigns
    • Help grow our online presence and community engagement
    • Track performance metrics and help refine content based on what's working
    • Collaborate with the team on creative ideas for promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns

    What We're Looking For

    • Strong background in social media content creation — a portfolio or examples of your work are highly recommended
    • Interest or experience in advertising, digital marketing, or social media strategy
    • A genuine passion for the outdoors and hospitality
    • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while traveling between locations
    • Strong communication skills and a creative eye for photography and video
    • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel from property to property
    • Available to work 20–40 hours per week throughout the summer season
