About the Role
The Overnight Campground Attendant helps maintain a safe, quiet, and guest-ready park environment after hours through overnight rounds, light cleaning, and guest support. This is a SEASONAL, full-time or part-time position and reports to the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager(s).
Locations Hiring
Overnight Operations & Guest Support
- Conduct scheduled overnight rounds of lodging areas, tent sites, common areas, parking, and waterfront access points
- Assist guests with basic needs after hours and escalate concerns to the on-call manager when needed
- Deliver firewood or supplies to guests as assigned
Quiet Hours & Atmosphere Control
- Monitor and enforce quiet hours in a calm, professional manner
- Address noise complaints and document issues/incidents for management follow-up
- Help maintain a family-friendly environment throughout the park
Safety, Security & Reporting
- Watch for hazards, unsafe behavior, or unauthorized access and respond appropriately
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly (lighting, gates, plumbing, trash overflow, etc.)
- Support emergency procedures and contact on-call leadership as needed
Cleanliness & Park Readiness (Overnight Touch-Ups)
- Timely trash pick-up around the park; operate trash compactor (where applicable)
- Reset and tidy pavilions, café seating/common areas, pool decks/cabanas, and high-traffic spaces
- Prep golf carts for the next day (wipe down, staging, charging)
Do You Have What It Takes?
Education, Training & Experience
Customer service experience preferred.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management
- Ability to maintain a Driver's License to operate company work carts
Essential Physical Demands
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Regularly move throughout the park
- Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl, walk in a hot environment
- Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
- Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
