About the Role
The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs across our properties. You'll handle everything from basic carpentry and plumbing to electrical troubleshooting and grounds maintenance. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills while keeping our beautiful properties in top condition. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is a seasonal, full-time or part-time position.

Facility Maintenance Duties
- Monitor the property and equipment daily for maintenance issues
- Perform basic carpentry repairs (doors, windows, decks, fencing)
- Drywall patching and painting as needed
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, drains, water heaters)
- HVAC filter changes and basic troubleshooting
- Pool and waterpark equipment monitoring
- Golf cart maintenance and repairs
- General grounds maintenance and upkeep
Administrative Duties
- Update Facilities Manager on work order status
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Report inventory needs for supplies and parts
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Do You Have What It Takes?
Education, Training & Experience
1-3 years of experience in a trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC). Trade certifications are desired but not required.

- Basic computer skills for work order management

- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain a positive work environment
Essential Physical Demands
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights
- Regularly move throughout the park
- Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
- Work in hot outdoor environments
- Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
- Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
- Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary
