    Housekeeping Staff

    Join our housekeeping team! We have multiple positions available including Cabin Attendants, Housekeeping Inspectors, and Laundry Attendants.

    $12 - $15 per hour

    About the Roles

    Our Housekeeping Staff are essential to creating the exceptional guest experience Son's Getaways is known for. We have three types of positions available: Cabin Attendants who clean and prepare guest cabins, Housekeeping Inspectors who ensure quality standards are met, and Laundry Attendants who manage all linen operations. All positions report to the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper. These are seasonal, full-time or part-time positions.

    Cabin Attendant Duties

    • Strip and make beds with fresh linens
    • Dust all surfaces, furniture, and decor
    • Clean mirrors, glass, and windows
    • Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors
    • Clean and sanitize bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, tubs)
    • Restock supplies (toiletries, towels, coffee, etc.)
    • Empty trash cans and replace liners
    • Report any maintenance issues or damages
    • Ensure cabins are guest-ready before check-in

    Housekeeping Inspector Duties

    • Conduct final inspections of cleaned cabins before guest arrival
    • Ensure all cleaning standards are met
    • Verify all amenities and supplies are properly stocked
    • Check for maintenance issues and report to supervisor
    • Provide feedback and coaching to cabin attendants
    • Maintain quality control checklists
    • Coordinate with front desk on cabin readiness

    Laundry Attendant Duties

    • Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linens and towels
    • Operate commercial washing machines and dryers
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry facility
    • Monitor inventory of linens and report shortages
    • Inspect linens for stains, tears, or wear
    • Distribute clean linens to housekeeping staff
    • Follow proper procedures for handling soiled items

    Education, Training & Experience

    Experience in housekeeping preferred but not required. We provide training!

    • Basic computer skills
    • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
    • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Work with minimal supervision
    • Maintain a positive work environment

    Essential Physical Demands

    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
    • Regularly move throughout the park
    • Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
    • Work in a hot environment
    • Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
    • Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
